Who we are
For more than 60 years now, the Association of Fundraising Professionals has been the standard-bearer for professionalism in fundraising, promoting high ethical standards within our profession.
AFP's California Valley Chapter is recognized as the premier resource for development and fundraising professionals in Central California, providing outstanding educational programs for professionals seeking professional development, networking, and career advancement.
The chapter includes approximately 95 members from throughout the Central Valley, including Fresno, Madera, Kings, Tulare, and Mariposa counties. Our members represent a cross-section of the Valley's rich and diverse nonprofit community. We welcome development professionals at all career levels from organizations of all sizes.
The California Valley Chapter hosts a variety of events annually, including monthly luncheon gatherings with topics on development and fundraising. All our events provide a networking environment to meet other professionals in the area and also provide a place to learn from others in the profession.
The Association of Fundraising Professionals is a member-based group that empowers individuals and organizations to practice ethical fundraising through professional education, networking, research and advocacy.

The organizations represented raise funds for a variety of non-profit organizations that support charitable causes and community betterment from A to Z including the arts and culture, animal welfare, education, health care, human services, poverty reduction, social issues and services.
Guests: Those who are not members of the Association are always welcome to attend our education and networking activities; participation fees are slightly higher for non-member guests.
